Dear Friend; 

The Give Detroit Challenge continues, as we are quickly approaching the
countdown of the last days. Every day brings more exciting and
interesting news. 

Tomorrow (October 27) is the last day of the bonus challenge for the
most individual donations. We are now tied for the second place. The
challenge ends at noon (Eastern Time). Can you help us make the final
push to win the extra $500? Make your $10 donation while you are
drinking your morning coffee:

We have reached the next threshold in the campaign, we now have over
$8,000 in our account. We were pushed back a notch on the leaderboard,
we are now #4, but we remain firmly among the top contenders. 

We could use a strong push back up :) 

In the meantime I receive donations and messages from friends I have not
heard from for many years (BTW I promise to reply to every email message
I receive!), or recent graduates. We share. We are becoming a community,
a group with identity, spirit and strength! It is wonderful to be part
of this experience!
