The actual renovation work of the Volterra International Residential College took only 30 weeks to complete. Just to make it clear, it took almost three years to get to that point. The primary obstacle was the archives in the building. Ultimately, they have been moved to a new, beautiful location outside of the city walls. From that point everything started to move at a much faster pace.
