Give Detroit Challenge - 3 days left!

Dear Friend; 

We are only three days away from the final bell of the incredible
experience of the Give Detroit Challenge. Where are we, what is
happening? 

We are in the sixth place in the race. We would need a miracle (or a few
miracles in fact) to move among the first three and win a big bonus. But
the whole event has already been a big miracle for us! Your response,
your generosity has been absolutely incredible. We are in the sixth
place - among fifty non-profit organizations in Detroit! We (as of
today) raised over $17,000. This is 43% more than our original goal! 192
people contributed to our cause within six weeks period. This is 34 more
than in the original effort to raise money for the renovation of the
facility in Volterra. The funds we raised will be definitely sufficient
to run the Artist in [Volterra] Residence program for at least two years
- while looking for strategic, long term sponsors. 

We have achieved a spectacular success. We have grown in strength and a
sense of unity. We could rest… 

But I am going to ask you for one more push at the end... 

To qualify for the last Bonus Challenge of $2,000 we need to receive at
least one donation every day of the last week of the program. We have so
far. As of now, there are only TWO OTHER foundations which qualify.
There will not be more, such is the nature of the challenge. Can you
help us do it? Can we try to win that last $2,000 together? We can make
a strong statement at the end… 

I will keep you informed how we are doing in this last effort - with
shorter messages, until the last day.
