Give Detroit Challenge Countdown - 7 days left!

Dear Friend; 

We are entering now the final week of the Give Detroit Challenge. SEVEN
MORE DAYS UNTIL THE FINAL BELL. Wow.. 

Today was very, very good for us. In fact every donation I see coming in
is making my heart jump with gratitude. Every word of encouragement
works the same way. But today was somehow special. A very generous
contribution from one of our major patrons was made within minutes from
two more donations, one made by the last year alumnus of the UDM SOA,
another one by a current student. Generations and worlds apart, but
sharing the same vision and passion. I was really moved. The student
wrote a note also, which I would like to quote here: 

"Even though I just participated in the (Volterra) program in summer of
2014, it has changed drastically since then and I cannot wait to see the
exciting changes that are coming in the future. The summer I spent in
Volterra was by far my most memorable college experience."

This is the last week of the Challenge, so the organizers (Crowdrise and
Skillman Foundation) prepared a SPECIAL SURPRISE for us. Starting at
2:00 pm today (Thursday), every $10 donation is another entry in a
drawing of a special prize. The prize is not intended for the foundation
this time, THE PRIZE IS FOR YOU! Here is what you can win:
