Give Detroit Challenge - it is over!

Dear Friend; 

The Give Detroit Challenge is over! 

There are no final, official results available yet, but it looks like we
finished in 7th place. Out of 50 foundations participating. 

I am so happy I can't express it. To use a sport analogy, after the six
weeks of the Challenge, I would say that we can feel like a runner after
a long race. We realize that we were running with giants. But we did all
we could, never lost heart! Our result in the race is our new personal
best, and 60% better than we could dream about before! We showed the
spirit and strength. 

We received donations from 210 people, in the total amount of $19,150.
We have done phenomenally well. Thanks to you, we will be able to start
the Artist in [Volterra] Residence program. 

We will have time to reflect more on our accomplishment, and share more
our thoughts with you. For now we just wanted to say how grateful we are
for your vision and generosity, how fantastic it is to see so many
familiar names on the list below. Than you all very, very much!
